Basic course

Successful participation in the basic aroma nursing course enables the participant to plan, apply and evaluate essential oils and other special aroma nursing products in the nursing process. The basic aroma nursing course concludes with a short written test. The contents of the test are all discussed during the course days so that the workload of the test is based on the course contents.

After successfully passing the test, participants receive a certificate authorizing them to provide aroma nursing.

As part of the basic aroma nursing course, participants learn skills for the application of aroma nursing in everyday clinical nursing. The aroma nursing basic course is divided into two days.

Target group: Nurses, nursing assistants, midwives / maternity nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists.

Prerequisites: Relevant training/studies in the healthcare sector. No previous knowledge of aroma nursing is necessary.

This course is a full-day course with two dates and is scheduled from 09:00 to 16:00. The course takes place on the premises of the University Hospital Mannheim (Theodor-Kutzer-Ufer).

The course fee includes drinks, snacks during breaks, all teaching materials such as a textbook and a workbook as well as special materials for the practical application of essential oils and a certificate of completion upon passing the test. Participants also receive in-depth instruction from qualified experts.

The course fee per person is 245 euros
