Complementary Nursing

Complementary means "complementing the other". Accordingly, the numerous nursing methods of complementary nursing supplement and support both conventional medicine and conventional nursing. Complementary nursing methods include aroma nursing, the concept of Therapeutic Touch or the nursing and movement concept of kinaesthetics. However, unusual methods such as hydrotherapy, applications with medicinal plants and medicinal teas or progressive muscle relaxation can also be classified as complementary nursing.
