Nursing Journal Club

The "Nursing Journal Club" is a new event for all committed nurses at the UMM. In regular meetings (every 8 weeks), nurses have the opportunity to discuss current study results.

Our aim is to build a bridge between nursing science and practice through scientific exchange and the joint analysis of relevant research results. The Nursing Journal Club offers nurses the opportunity to familiarize themselves with scientific methods and to deepen knowledge already acquired in nursing. This knowledge is used to critically question established practices and introduce innovative approaches into nursing practice.

Participation in the Nursing Journal Club is open to all UMM nursing staff. By simply registering with the subject "Nursing Journal Club" at pflegeentwicklung@umm.de you can take part in the exciting meetings. Spontaneous visits are also welcome, as the focus is on open exchange.

The Nursing Journal Club is a promising method for linking nursing science and practice. With a scientifically sound approach and a close connection to practice, a win-win situation is created for everyone involved. Together we want to introduce innovative ideas into nursing practice and continuously improve the quality of nursing.
