Stoma consultation

In the new life situation of enterostoma wearers, stoma counseling is available to provide guidance and discharge planning. Advice and guidance for ostomy patients is provided individually and in a targeted manner until the time of discharge, with the aim of achieving the patient's independence.

As qualified contact persons, the stoma consultants are closely involved in patient nursing together with the responsible doctor and nursing team. All measures are continuously compared with the patient's knowledge and abilities. If necessary, relatives or trusted persons are involved.
