In the Department of Surgery, the anaesthesia and operating theatre functional services support all patients in their exceptional situation by building trust in a professional and approachable manner. In addition to all the operating theaters at Mannheim University Hospital, our portfolio also includes the recovery rooms and other anesthesia workstations. Members of different professions and cultures work together in our team. The operating theater represents a central interface in this network. The operating theater plays a key role in assessing the quality of a clinic.
