Ward 14 - 2

We are 14-2 and part of the neurology department!
Our team comprises 20 employees, with registered nurses and nursing assistants working hand in hand.

For our 27 patients, the focus is on neurological diseases (epilepsy and multiple sclerosis), neuro-oncology, diseases of the peripheral nervous system and musculature, as well as neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).

Since 2022, there has been further training in the basics of ventilation for patients with neurological diseases, which means we can also provide non-invasive ventilation for ALS patients in collaboration with our respiratory therapists. We also have the option of carrying out EEG monitoring on the ward.

"Hand in hand" is the motto here when it comes to providing patients with optimal, comprehensive and best possible nursing and treatment. As a nursing team, we work closely with other professional groups such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and doctors.
