Ward 14 - 3

Ward 14-3 is part of the I. Medical Clinic under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Daniel Dürschmied.

The ward has 22 beds and is mainly used as a short-stay ward for cardiology and angiology patients with a length of stay of between one and four days. The majority of our patients are admitted electively for planned interventions, operations or examinations.

Preparation for the various procedures, as well as follow-up nursing and monitoring after the procedure, takes place on our ward. In order to ensure that processes run as smoothly as possible, there is close cooperation with various interfaces such as patient management, decentralized admission, outpatient clinics, recovery room, cardiac catheter laboratory and pacemaker surgery.

The 14-3 team consists mainly of highly experienced nursing staff, including a practice instructor and a wound expert. We see ourselves as part of a therapeutic team that works closely with all other professional groups to ensure the best possible nursing for our patients.
