Ward 16 - 4

Patients with diseases from the entire spectrum of hematology and oncology are treated on our ward 16-4. Haematology includes all malignant and non-malignant diseases of the blood. Oncology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The main focuses of the ward are

• The comprehensive diagnosis of malignant diseases, both of the blood and of all other organs
• The implementation of all types of drug therapies for malignant diseases (chemotherapies, immunotherapies, hormone therapies and other targeted therapies)
• The treatment of complications following chemotherapeutic applications
• Psycho-oncological support if required
