Bone marrow or stem cell transplantation is part of the treatment of many benign and malignant diseases of the bone marrow, lymph nodes and other tumors. In stem cell transplantation, a distinction is made between autologous and allogeneic blood stem cell transplantation. For many patients, stem cell transplants are the only way to cure the disease.

Ward 9-3 offers optimal conditions for the nursing of patients with an allogeneic transplant of bone marrow and stem cells.
