Intensive

The Department of Intensive Nursing covers all conservative and surgical disciplines and all intensive nursing units have special tasks in patient nursing. Patients on the individual wards are admitted to the respective ward both electively following special interventions that require monitoring and intensive nursing, and as part of emergency nursing.

It is not always possible to plan every admission, but this unpredictability is a constant feature of intensive nursing. The specially trained nursing staff, often with two years of specialist training, are prepared for every situation in cooperation with the other professions and problems are dealt with routinely.
