Patient management

The patient managers plan and control the admission and discharge process in consultation between the professional groups. The indication for inpatient admission, treatment, discharge or transfer is always the responsibility of the doctor.

Our tasks are

• Planning and coordination of inpatient admission (after an outpatient visit, direct referral by dermatologists in private practice, external hospitals, internal transfer after consultation)
• Planning specialist and interdisciplinary diagnostics and therapy in connection with an inpatient stay - interface coordination - prior outpatient presentation is essential
• Scheduling and coordination of inpatient and daypatient (after outpatient presentation) surgical procedures
• Coordination of emergency admissions
