Pool chat - Nursing team

Working in different areas is both a challenge and an enrichment.

I am very happy and passionate about being a pool employee.

 

There is no daily routine in the nursing pool, which keeps mind and body fit.

I'm 61 and I learn something new every day.

 

I am at IPP UMM: to be able to use my wide-ranging knowledge after my specialist training.

I enjoy working in anesthesia and intensive care equally.

I can organize my own time during my studies.

I decided to switch to the intensive nursing pool because it gives me a varied working day and allows me to see a wide range of clinical pictures.

It allows me to use my entire knowledge base and my knowledge remains broad and not restricted to one specialist area

To be honest, I didn't know what I was letting myself in for, but after three months I can say:
- Very interesting and varied, no two shifts are the same
- I learn something new every day, my professional and social skills expand enormously
- Very collegial and friendly integration on the changing wards
- Plus reliable duty rosters that are adapted to my private life and not vice versa
