Women's clinic and delivery room
Hello, my name is Kerstin Müller, I completed my training as a pediatric nurse at the UMM in 2006 and have been working in the women's clinic ever since. I am currently employed 50% in the delivery room as a pediatric nurse and the remaining 50% as a central practical instructor in the women's clinic.
For me, supervising practice means deepening my own knowledge, taking a critical look at myself and questioning my own actions, and being just as open to criticism as is expected of a trainee. It also means carrying out your own work on the ward and with patients conscientiously and correctly so that you can leave the ward at the end of the day with a good feeling.
And you play a big part in whether a trainee looks back on their time on the ward positively or negatively
