My name is Wolfgang Blank, I completed my training as a nurse at the UMM in 2000 and have been a practice supervisor since 2017. I started working as a central practice supervisor in 2020. I have many years of experience in the field of orthopaedics and trauma surgery. Surgery is my passion.

Together with Timm Henrich, I am responsible for PflegeSTARt@UMM.

As a central practice instructor, it is very important to me to train future nurses well in practice, as I believe that well-trained nurses make a decisive contribution to patient safety at UMM. In my instructions, I attach great importance to teaching the nursing process, as only systematic, planned nursing care based on scientific knowledge is good nursing care.
