My name is Evelyne Koczot. I am the deputy ward manager of the neurosurgical anesthesiology intensive care unit.

I developed a special interest in intensive care right at the start of my professional career when I trained as a healthcare and nursing assistant in 2016. The expertise applied in the intensive care unit and the high level of professional competence motivated me and awakened in me the desire to expand the existing level of quality even more specifically.

For me, quality in everyday life on the critical care unit is not just about close collaboration between the various professions, but is also reflected in emphasizing the specific strengths of each member of staff and weaving them into the clinical rhythm. The promotion of the team in specialist topics and the establishment of nursing science tools portray my idea of competence and quality.

The art of transferring acquired knowledge into everyday intensive care medicine requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability, which characterizes our team.
