In the I. Medical Clinic, we treat patients with cardiovascular diseases, lung diseases, coagulation disorders and vascular diseases.

Ward 13 - 4 is the telemetry ward (House 13, Level 4). We use telemetry to monitor the heart rhythm in real time via ECG in order to identify cardiac arrhythmias. Telemetry enables the wireless transmission of ECG signals from a portable recorder to our ward base.

This enables our inpatients to be mobile on the ward during recording. Dangerous cardiac arrhythmias are thus detected at an early stage.

This close monitoring relieves the pressure on the intensive nursing unit, as our patients do not require the high level of nursing care needed in an intensive nursing unit and can be cared for completely satisfactorily on the telemetry station.
