The HNW Mitte team supports the nursing staff with all the day-to-day activities on the ward.

We can be reached via a PSE "beeper" (paging unit). We look after House 1 and the patient house with mainly surgical and a few conservative areas, as well as obstetrics.

Our range of tasks extends from supporting colleagues in the ward routine to failure management in the event of illness. This includes the nursing and positioning of patients, assistance with administrative tasks, collection from the recovery room (AWR) after operations and crisis management in emergency situations.

The organization of the gynaecological outpatient clinic also falls within our area of responsibility, as well as supporting the PDLs on duty at night with personnel management. Interdisciplinary work and great organizational skills are a matter of course for us, as we see ourselves as an interface and contact for the nursing staff of various specialist departments as well as HNW teams East and West, doctors, ZNA, OR staff, etc..

Our work is very varied and characterized by self-organization. Empathy and a confident manner are basic prerequisites for us to be able to deal with difficult situations.
